We have a friendly team here at MHT. They’re clever, innovative, eclectic and unique. Our very talented team has a range of different skills, from coding to sales, marketing to engineering and so much more. The team includes, pop master enthusiasts, metal music guitarists and even someone who owns his own train.

System Support Engineer

I joined MHT in October 2024 with 23 years’ experience working in IT. I spend most of my time with my family, being a taxi service for my children. When I have time, I enjoy going to the gym and taking our dogs for walks.

Senior Hardware Development Engineer

I have been with MHT since November 2005. When time permits it I enjoy water skiing and riding off-road motorbikes. At work I love being able to develop new products and ideas with a friendly group of people.

I joined MHT in 2019. I've really enjoyed collaborating across all of our departments to provide solutions for our customers. In 2021 I ran the Great North Run, raising over £100 for Heel & Toe (a local children's charity).

I have been with MHT since 2012. During this time I celebrated my 50th Birthday and the company actually organised some celebrations for me. The social gatherings are one of my favourite parts of working for MHT.

I started working with MHT in February 2020, just before the Covid restrictions were enforced. Safe to say it was a very steep learning curve! I love all things Les Mills, so you'll find me in the gym most days after work and at weekends.

I joined MHT in June 2022 and every day since has been a school day! I'm very keen on Rugby and love going to the theatre. MHT has a wonderful mixture of colleagues and they all helped me to feel very welcome from day one.

Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator

I joined MHT in 2019 as Business Support Co-ordinator however an opportunity to change my role appeared and I am now the Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator. I'm an avid football fan and play guitar (and sing) in a Metalcore band.

I started at MHT in 2022. As an Apprentice, I've really enjoyed the mixture of education and working that the role has allowed me. I'm a big footy fan and play for my local team as well as having a season ticket for Newcastle United.

I joined MHT in 2019 and have since been promoted to Solutions Engineering Manager. During this time I was also able to travel to Endress+Hauser Yamanashi (Japan) to do special training on Scientific Instruments SI-7000 LTD gauges.

Since joining MHT in 2008, I've had the pleasure of working with some of the best brains in the Tank Gauging industry for over a decade. The wealth of knowledge about chemical compositions and flanges is outstanding.

I started my apprenticeship with MHT in 2023. When not at work I enjoy drone flying, playing guitar and watching football. I studied maths, computer science and IT at A-Level so I'm happy to be doing an Apprenticeship for a tech company.

I joined MHT in April 2006. One of my personal highlights in this time was developing the new Web Server for our Mini Receivers. I really appreciate the trust that the company puts in you to get on with your job.

Having just joined MHT, I'm looking forward to pursuing a career instead of just an other job. My interests include motorcycles, Rugby and food. I'm very much looking forward to becoming a valued part of the team.

I've worked with MHT since 2018. Since then I've picked up more end of year awards than Lionel Messi has Ballon d'Ors. I also love working with such a great bunch of colleagues and I enjoy the flexible working that the MHT offers.

I've been with MHT since November 2022. So far I've enjoyed being able to use a wide berth of programming skills across both internal MHT and Endress+Hauser projects. As well as programming, I enjoy drawing and writing.

I have so many highlights of working at MHT (as you would expect from someone that joined all the way back in 2002). The MM39 project in particular saw our tank gauging software pushed beyond what we thought possible.

I've been an MHT colleague since 2010. I love the location of our offices, the office dynamics and how my role allows me the freedom to think creatively. I'm a massive dog lover and the health and welfare of my dogs is a top priority.

I've been with MHT since 1995. Understandably as I've been here for so long there's been so many highlights that it's difficult to choose! When i'm not in the office I'm often to be found in the driver's seat or engine room of a railway locomotive.

I have been with MHT since 2013. I love that I'm able to work on the Linux operating system however the work I did on our product CheckScheme was also a highlight. When I'm not at work I spend way too much time playing Skyrim!

I joined MHT all the way back in 2003. A highlight during this time was developing our Mini Receiver from scratch. Fun fact; I spend many a weekend as a roadie for my wife when she sings in an 80's themed musical duo!

I joined MHT in 2008. I enjoy working as a team and being able to see our products built, shipped and then used around the world. In my spare time I am a heavy metal enthusiast, record collector and musician.

I began my career with MHT in March 2006 after spending 22 years in the Royal Air Force as an Avionics Technician. In my spare time and when I can, I enjoy Skiing and Clay Pigeon Shooting (but not at the same time!).

I have been with MHT since 2013 and was able to lead a great team as MD before stepping back into a Sales Consultancy role. I'm an enthusiastic cyclist and you can often find me cycling around the North Yorkshire countryside (in my Lycra).

I began my time at MHT in August 2015 as a System Support Engineer. My role allows me to travel the world supporting the customers that have purchased our software. I'm a compulsive tool collector and usually have a DIY project on the go.

I joined MHT as an Apprentice in 2023. Having previously worked in retail and hospitality, I'm excited to have started a career that utilises my Computer Science skills. Outside of work I enjoy going for walks with my dog and watching movies.
