Project Lifecycle

We pride ourselves on offering a complete project lifecycle tailored to each customer’s specific requirements and circumstances.

From standard ‘off the shelf’ product sales through to development-led greenfield projects, we have the personnel and technical resources to ensure every enquiry is given the same degree of personal involvement and attention to detail.

Depending on the scale of project, the lifecycle will typically progress through the following steps.

Initial enquiry

Whether it’s a quick phone call, email correspondence, or a scheduled videoconference, our dedicated in-house Sales team have the necessary industry experience to fully discuss your individual project requirements.

Site survey

We recognise that varying infrastructure, equipment and workflows means that no customer or site is identical to another. If required, our team of Field Service engineers will inspect existing equipment, produce condition reports, identify what of the existing infrastructure can be retained and maintained and suggest how more modern plant and equipment can be phased in as budgets allow.

Quotation and order

We will work closely with you to make sure all requirements and options are discussed and understood up front and how we can best help you reach your objectives on time and on budget.

Project management

Projects of a sufficient scale that require co-ordination between your own teams, different in-house departments, and third-party contractors will be assigned a Project Manager to plan and oversee every stage of development. They will be your first port of call should you have any questions or want to discuss any changes you wish to make to the project schedule. All our projects are managed in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015.

Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

With a Factory Acceptance Test, project stakeholders can be assured that the system meets full specification compliance before it arrives at site. Usually performed alongside a representative from site, verifying, inspecting, and testing configuration prior to shipment greatly improves the efficiency of on-site installation.

On-site installation

Our installation and commissioning services can call on world-wide experience to ensure your new installation and start-up go according to plan and budget. We pride ourselves on offering a professional and efficient service, operating within international standards to satisfy the most stringent quality and management standards.

Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

The main function of performing a Site Acceptance Test is to test system functionality integrated with the existing infrastructure and interfaces on site.

Training

We can offer comprehensive training and demonstration days either on location at your site or using our dedicated training facilities at our offices in North Yorkshire. Training can be provided for groups of up to four people at a time and the content can be tailored to meet the needs of the trainees in attendance.

Ongoing service and support

Should any problems occur with your system or infrastructure during business hours, we offer quick and easy access to our Support Helpdesk via email or phone. A 24/7 priority support contract is available for those customers where response time is critical or who just require additional peace of mind that any downtime on site will be minimised. We recommend that annual or bi-annual planned service visits are utilised as part of a preventative maintenance regime.
