Safety Instrumented Systems
MHT offers expertise in functional safety and Safety Instrumented Systems throughout the IEC 61508 and 61511 Safety Life Cycle, built upon a background of experience in developing high integrity systems for safety critical applications, including hardware and software to DEF STAN and RIA standards and the application of RAMS.
MHT is able to carry out hazard / risk analysis of the process or system, perform LOPA studies and develop the safety requirements. MHT utilises systematic methods for determination and selection of Safety Integrity Levels. Furthermore, MHT has the capability to engineer the SIS, including design and development of the safety functions and safety related software.
