Our software engineers have a wealth of experience to draw on from many projects not just in the Oil and Gas industry. Our knowledge extends from small embedded microprocessor developments all the way up to enterprise sized multi-user computer systems.
MHT develop on a number of microprocessors including Philips / NXP ARM, Motorola / Freescale 68K and Intel x86 series as well as various microcontrollers, all of which feature in our own ranges of embedded industrial products. Much of the software developed for these platforms is run on MHT’s own custom built hardware.
MHT also develop software for the Windows platforms where our expertise at marrying legacy low-level communications protocols with modern state-of-the-art user interfaces helps breathe life into old industrial equipment. For evidence of this you have to look no further than our world class tank gauging systems.
Choosing the right technologies to solve customers’ problems has great bearing on the success of the project from the outset. MHT’s familiarity with tried and trusted languages such as C and assembly language as well as the latest Microsoft.NET 3.5, SQL Server 2005, XAML, WCF, WPF, LINQ and Extension methods means that technology appropriate to the task at hand can be made. The development work is backed up by our Perforce infrastructure and our SLD methodology.
