Electronic Design and Development
MHT provides for the whole product lifecycle from conception, through the design and development phases to production realisation and ongoing support right through to decommissioning. Our engineers have many years experience working to a wide array of development models from the oil & gas, pharmaceutical, rail, military and process instrumentation industries. While all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s own quality systems, MHT is also able to accommodate those of our customers.
Our hardware design capabilities have led us to create some unique products for several industries, some of which are even in outer space. Our products have proved themselves reliable all over the world in a variety of harsh and dangerous environments.
The expertise of MHT engineers in reverse-engineering legacy electronic equipment and systems has given us the advantage over our competitors for many of our own products, and given our customers ways of extending the life of their existing investments.
Extensive use is made of CAD tools throughout the development process; from well known applications such as AutoCAD to others which are highly specialised. All electronic circuit board design is carried out in-house, utilising SMD and conventional technologies on plain and multi-layer boards. The design process makes full use of CAD to produce NC phototooling and manufacturing data.
